Animals of the Dead is a solo piece by Robert Brown, of Northern Valentine. It is one of two Northern Valentine songs featured on the split release, "Northern Valentine & P.D. Wilder", released on Gears of Sand Recordings in 2008.

Ned Raggett (AllMusic) describes this song as "...suggesting early Aphex Twin at his most serene but still tuneful...".
